Homemade Sweet BBQ Sauce
I used leftover stock from my 45 minutes homemade BBQ ribs to make this sauce. You can use any stock or just make the water base bbq sauce too.
Equipment
- 1 saucepan
- 1 spatula
Ingredients
- 1½ cup tomato ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 4-5 cloves garlic grated or minced
- 1/2 cup stock or dripping from roast or just water
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan.
- Mix and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Transfer the BBQ sauce to jars. This sauce is good in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
