What makes Bang Bang Salmon Unique.
- The Sauce – Bang bang salmon gets its name from the sweet, savory, and spicy bang bang sauce or glaze made with gochujang (Korean red chili paste). This sauce gives the salmon a delicious, complex flavor.
- The Thai twist in the dipping sauce. Most Bang Bang sauce are the mixed of Mayo, Chili sauce like Sriracha, and Thai sweet chili sauce.
- The Contrast – The sweet and savory glaze provides a nice contrast to the rich, fatty salmon. The spiciness also cuts through the oiliness.
- Quick and Easy – Bang bang salmon comes together fast. You just mix up the easy sauce, coat the salmon, and bake. Total hands-on time is less than 10 minutes.
- Kid-Friendly – Despite the kick from the gochujang, bang bang salmon isn’t overly spicy. The sweetness helps temper the heat making it appealing to kids.
- Customizable – The sauce is very versatile. You can adjust ingredients to make it more or less sweet, salty, or spicy. You can also use it on different proteins such as tofu, white meat fish, and beef.
