What is This Salsa Made of?
Ripe mango is the star of the show. Dice and join forces with juicy Roma tomatoes, adding a touch of sweetness. A sprinkle of red onion provides a welcome crunch, while fresh lime juice brings a burst of brightness. To complete the flavor fiesta, a hint of chili powder dances with the sweetness of maple syrup (or your preferred sweetener), and fresh cilantro adds an herbal touch. It’s a symphony of flavors in every bite! If you’re curious about the history of mango salsa, you can find more information in the post on jocooks.com.

delicious! skipped the maple syrip as I used a ‘packed lunch pot’ of chopped mango in syrup and two feisty red chilli’s instead of the jalapeños- all in a blender for a quick choppy-choppy and then marinaded two buttrflied chicken breaststroke in half of it and used the rest as salad dressing. oh so v v good indeed, thank you!
Thank you. Love your idea. We used to have the packed lunch pot of chopped mango thing when I was a teacher. Missing those days now so I’ll definitely try your method when I have a chance 😀
